But before You start to do any changes, one should make it clear to himself: why he wants to make changes? What is the reason of dissatisfaction? Is it the way how you look? Is it your weight, career, friends, hobbies, addictions that keeps you away from a happier life?
By doing things in an old way we are attracting the same type of people in our lives, the same type of problems and achievements in our life, the same type of diseases and illnesses. The fact of not making changes in our lives and living in an old way puts us in a stressful mood. This mood pushes us to make some changes in order to fulfill the feeling of happiness.
The peak time comes when one morning a person wakes up and says- I don't want to continue living this way! I want to make some changes! I want to start a new life. This is a begging of changes. But with not enough discipline and determination we often fail to achieve this goal of starting a new life.
We very often we stop at the first step: we only say that we want to start a new life. We say: I will divorce from my husband, I will find a new job, I will change my friends, I will quit smoking and won't drink too much, I will spend more time with my children, I will....I will...and again lots of I will promises. But promises are not enough. We have to do something! So how can you make today the start of your new life?
Here are some examples and advices you might want to read and write down somewhere, because some of them you might find inspirational and useful:
1. Write down things you want to change in your life!
2. Make, do or buy something that will remind to you your promise to start a new life every day. Make a small painting, put an image on the desktop of your laptop, make a new hairstyle, buy a new bracelet of "reminder of starting a new life" and wear it every day. Anything that will remind You every day that You have to keep on going in this new way will do just fine, because it will help You not to give away those promises that You have made.
3. Tell about Your wish to your best friends! Do it today! Tell them that, for example, you decided to loose 5 pounds in the next 6 weeks. I am sure they will time to time remind to you about your promise, when they will see you eating chocolate or drinking lemonade! This way you will not be able to skip from your earlier made promises.
4. Spend 15 minutes every day in self-inspiring coffee breaks. Start it now. Think about those changes you wanted to make. Do it with an intense. Remind yourself what you have managed to change so far and else have to be done. This is an important point because it is a moment of self disciplining and managing. What type of changes can you possibly make if you don't manage those you have and have not made so far?
5. Wake up 10 minutes earlier and go to sleep 10 minutes earlier, it will discipline yourself and motivate you in such way, that it will remind you that you already started to go forward your goals. If you cant manage to discipline time of waking up and going to sleep, it is unlikely that you will manage to make any other changes in your life. I would say that in 68% of cases it is a proven fact. Maybe you consider yourself to be one of those 32% who can skip this task.
